Suite Colbert
The Colbert suite takes its name from Juliette Colbert, the last Marchioness of Barolo, the inventor of Barolo wine as we know it and to whom the square below is also named.
Camera Bianca (White Room)
The white room is part of the new rooms built during the last renovation. The predominant color of this room is white It has a ceiling in exposed bleached wood beams.
This room is equipped with:

Camera Azzurra (Azure Room)
The light blue room is part of the new rooms built with the last renovation. The color that predominates in this room is azure and there are photographs of famous Italian movie stars of the fifties.
This room is equipped with:

Suite Castello
The suite "castle" takes its name from the magnificent view that you can enjoy from the central skylight that frames the main Tower of the Castle of Barolo as if it is a painting.
Camera Verde (Green Room)
The green room (camera verde) overlooks the valley of the most important vineyards in the area: Barolo and La Morra. The walls echo the green vine leaves in the moment to change from green to a thousand colors.

Special features: in the bathroom we highlighted a part of the fresco emerged during the renovation, the painting represents the wooden planks that had once decorated the facade of the building in order to give the impression of being made of wood, like a Swiss chalet, hence the name of the hotel "Swiss Hotel".

Camera Viola (Purple Room)
The purple room (camera viola) overlooking the quiet square in the historic center. The walls are a warm and enveloping wine-colored.
Why the name Swiss House?
The structure in which there is the farm house Casa Svizzera (Swiss House) was, between 1800 and the early 900, "the Swiss Hotel", as evidenced by period photos and stories of older people with rooms looking out onto the square.

Breakfast and snacks
Breakfast is served in the same building, on the first floor, in the recently renovated rooms that are the headquarters of the horticultural company Bosco delle Galline Volanti. Every morning, in fact, the sweet and savory delights served for breakfast are prepared with fresh produce from the garden along with ingredients at Km 0, the Germano winery and the Bosco delle Galline Volanti are in fact part of a network of small local farms, called "the right factors", the idea is to involve all those activities that can constitute a complete basket: producers of vegetables, fruits, hazelnuts, cheeses, dairy products, bread and flour, wine, honey, eggs, meat, fish and respective processed. You can taste all these wonderful products in our breakfasts or find them in the sales point or in the Bosco delle Galline Volani restaurant.
In addition to the breakfast, each room there is a "sitting area" in which guests have free access to a kettle, different tea bags and herbal tea, instant coffee and cappuccino, sweet and savory snacks (candy portion, chips, peanuts), in the fridge available for free there are a bottle of sparkling and still water. Still, in the fridge, there is a bottle of white wine Chardonnay Zoi and a bottle of Nebbiolo rosé Anin of our production that can be enjoyed for a fee.
Snacks can be enjoyed wherever you prefer, we have made available a large sofa with a coffee table or the high stools with table-shelf, in order to create a kind of "piano bar" where you can enjoy our wine in a private relaxing atmosphere, or why not on the table facing the balconies of wrought iron as the chairs, to enjoy the breeze in the summer.
The suite has a sofa a bit smaller but it has a convenient sceslong.

Cleaning service: bed making, we rearrange the whole room every 2 days stay. The bed linen is changed once every 4 days and however according to needs, as well as for the towels.
Free Parking
Our property is located in the heart of the old town of Barolo and you can park your car in the large Colbert square located a few meters from our structure. Parking is free.

The Casa Svizzera farmhouse offers its guests a quiet family atmosphere and a central location that allows you, in a few minutes on foot, to reach all the restaurants, wine bars and wine shops in the charming old town centre.
